"Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." -  Hebrews 10:25
"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Phillippians 4:7

Father Christopher retired at the end of January and we are now awaiting a new appointment.  The process (called interregnum) can be lengthy and the Church Wardens and PCC are involved with the Diocese in making the new appointment.  We could have to wait for up to a year (hopefully not) and in the meantime we will be asking for a range of other ordained ministers or lay people to lead our services.  We hope to continue with the 3 services on the sunday, 1st sunday childrens service and 3rd sunday cafe church.  All holy days will be observed as usual.  If in any doubt please check the magazinne or contact one of the church wardens or the office administrator for advice.

please include this prayer in your daily prayers

God our father you have welcomed each one of us in Jesus and called us to be his body in this place. Send us your Holy Spirit at this time of uncertainty and change to fill us with vision, energy and faithfulness in prayer that we may be true to our calling to bring new life to our community; and guide with your heavenly wisdom those who are to choose a new priest for this parish so that the one whom we may receive may be wise and gentle shepherd of your people: ready to serve us with joy, to build us up in faith and to lead us by example in loving obedience to your son, our saviour Jesus Christ. Amen
